For
groups of paintings, you can choose a symmetric or
assymetric approach. The symmetric approach is a more
conservative, traditional look, giving balance and order
to the room. Assymetry allows a more creative display of the art. It is feasible for collections of a great variety of sizes, shapes and styles. However, it requires a lot of the composer. See also mixture. 4-groups of paintings are often:
